Mumbai, Feb 1: The Rupee on Tuesday gained five paise against the US Dollar and moved to 74.56 in early trade on selling of USD by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The local unit remained strong on a weak Dollar against other world currencies amid strong opening in the stock market. The Rupee unit registered the days high and low at 74.52 and 74.58 respectively against the US Dollar, dealers added.
