Nadira Babbar & “Dayashankar Ki Diary”
New Delhi, May 26: Hundreds of millions or may be hundreds of crores of common man, you may call them a multitude, uncountable and unfortunately the most unreachable, are the most elementary component of India. Their dreams, their struggle for two meals, to live with an identity of their own and to their toil for the survival of the fittest in the race of life makes the theme of Articoll’s ‘Solo Fest’.
Articoll is the artistic branch of the All India Centre For Urban and Rural Development (AICFURD) – a NGO. Incessantly, since 1985, Articoll is carrying out developmental activities across many parts of the country, especially on the theme of ‘mental health’ through Theatre and Drama Fests.
Ace Writer, Actress and Theatre legend Nadira Babbar’s “Dayashankar Ki Diary” was the most watch-worthy play of the ‘Solo Fest’ held on 20th May 2022, at Muktodhara, Veer Singh Marg New Delhi at Articoll’s annual ‘Solo Fest’. Where she joined as the writer of the play and as a Think Tank of human aesthetics.
Articoll’ ‘Solo Fest’-2022 , is an anthology of solo theatre performances, which usually worked for National school of Drama, Sangeet Natak Academy, Gas Authority of India Limited(GAIL), Bengal Association and prominent theatre groups like Sansaptak and Kajon among others.
The annual Theatrical event was inaugurated by none other than the veteran theater personality Nadira Babbar, by lilting the lamp. As the Chief Guest, the Play-writer and Judge, she watched her documented work being played-live on stage.
Other than Nadira Babbar, veteran theatre personality Torit Mitra along with other prominent theatre practitioners have graces the event as Chief Guest and hon’rable guest.
