Malda : A youth was electrocuted to death and nine others received burn wounds after they came in contact with an overhead livewire during Muharram procession in West Bengal’s Malda district today morning, official sources said.
The tragedy occurred at Milki-Atgama in the English Bazar police station area. The injured were rushed to the Malda Medical College and Hospital, one of them was declared dead.
