Mumbai, Jan 4: A 21-year-old engineering student from Bengaluru was arrested by the Cyber Cell of Mumbai Police on Tuesday in connection with an App which has illegally put up photographs of Muslim women to show that they were on “auction”.
Vishal is a second year student of engineering. He used his Twitter handle to share derogatory content from the Bulli Bai App.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cyber Cell) Rashmi Karndhikar questioning the accused, a police official said.
