Jahangirpuri Violence Probe Will Be Done From Every Aspect: Rakesh Asthana
New Delhi, Apr 18: Jahangirpuri area violence investigations has been given to Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit of the Special Cell for a detailed analysis and investigation of all the digital evidences. The team will soon identify the suspects who were involved and initiate immediate legal action against them, said the Delhi on Monday.
Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana also assured that the violence that took place between two different group of religious beliefs in northwest Delhi’s Jahangirpuri area, will be thoroughly investigated from all possible angles, in a media briefing.
It’s pertinent to say that, the case has been formally transferred to the Crime Branch of the Delhi Police.
“The Crime Branch has formed around 14 teams who will probe the incident from all angles. They have already initiated the investigation from yesterday and we will regularly share the updates during the investigation,” the top Delhi Police official said.
