Apr 15: The woman accepted the murder of her own son in an intoxicated stage before Koraput Police. The police has arrested Phulmati Muduli, over killing the three-year-old son from Lukumari village.
On the occasion of Chaiti Parba, a feast was organised in the village. Phulmati and her husband Ganga Muduli returned home in an intoxicated state along with their son after having the feast and the fateful incident occurred during the Chaiti Parva on Wednesday night.
Phulmati Muduli allegedly beheaded her son with a sharp-edged weapon. The brutal killing had sent shockwaves among the residents of the locality.
On Thursday morning only Ganga could know at the murder and he informed the villagers and the police about the brutal crime. l
