The fact is that a youth has been stabbed to death for participating in Ganesh ‘bisarjan’ whereas he was an ardent Hanuman devotee! That is the truth coming out of India’s national capital, Delhi.
Reasons can be noted in different ways but what has happened in the national Capital’s heart belt, Mangolpuri, was the outcome of a regressive bigotry and nothing.
It is not Hindu religion vs any other religious faith but, it a discord in faith, within the Hindu faith, that a man had to give his life for nothing.
It is unbelievable that, inside the Hindu religious ethos, if there is a water-tight compartmentalization as to whom to worship and whom not to. There is never ever a logic that someone worshiping Lord Shiva cannot pray Lord Vishnu.
Exactly, like that, in a bizarre incident of man-made religious divide, a youth in Mangolpuri, on the outskirts of national capital has been stabbed to death. Because the deceased despite being a Hanuman devotee, took part in a Ganesh idol immersion. That was his fault.
Whereas, in Hindu faith, the worship of Lord Ganesh, who is the only god who is worshiped ahead of all other deities is any pooja. Even before worship of Lord Shiva or Vishnu, the hymns start with Ganesh ‘Vandana’, namoh ganesh vighnesha, girija nandan prabhoo….
What was the crime of him who was stabbed to death for no fault committed under any law. Although the police has registered a case but, the life is lost in the fire of an overriding self-acquired arrogance of a few fanatics who tried to create factions in faith in such murderous way.
It was not the deceased Arman alone but his two brothers were severely assaulted with weapons and hospitalized.
The family of Mangolpuri stabbing incident victim on Saturday alledged that their son was murdered for being an ardent Lord Hanuman devotee and participating in Ganesha idol immersion.
