Bhubaneswar: Bodies Of Wife & Sister-In-Law Recovered From Closed Room, Husband Arrested
Bhubaneswar, Apr 24: The killer man has been arrested today fromĀ Chandrasekharpur Housing Board Colony over allegedly killings of his wife and sister-in-law, here in the capital city. Deceased’s family members and police are now disclosing shocking revelations in connection with this brutal murder.
According to reports, accused Bijayketan Sethi had killed his wife Gayatri Sethi and sister-in-law Saraswati Sethi on April 21 inside the house and tried to hide the bodies there.
After the murderous act, Bijayketan used to stay outside home and kept his mobile phones switched off.
As the family members of the deceased were unable to communicate with the two over their mobile phones and Bijayaketan’s regular avoidance of calls, loomed fear and suspicion of something ominous.Ā Suspecting foul play, the kin of the deceased lodged a complaint with the Chandrasekharpur police. Locals also detected foul smell emanating from the said house and informs police on Sunday.
Cops have arrested the accused and recovered the bodies for further investigation.
The deceased’s mother has accused āmy son-in-law has killed my two daughters. He had been threatening my elder daughter to kill her. I want justice for my two childrenā.
Though the exact reason behind the murder is yet to divulged, it is suspected that the killings was a fallout of family dispute.
Bijayketan had married Gayatri in 2011 while the two were residing in Chandrasekharpur Housing Board Colony. Gayatriās younger sister Saraswati, who worked as a nurse at a private hospital in the city, used to visit her sister and brother-in-lawās place frequently.
Accused Bijayaketan said, the two women used to torture him, for which he finished the duo from life.
