Tokyo : Following Mirabai Chanu’s historic silver medal acquisition in weightlifting lifted Indian athletes’ spirits on the opening day of the Tokyo Olympics, India look to improve their medal tally with multiple events lined up on Day 2. India’s disappointment in shooting, however, continued on Day 2 as Manu Bhaker and Yashaswini Deswal failed to qualify for 10m air pistol, finishing 12th and 13th respectively.
