Khajuraho, MP, Dec 30: Godman Kalicharan Maharaj was placed under arrest here on Thursday by a special team of Chhattisgarh Police, from Raipur, on the charge of making a derogatory remark against Father of the Nation Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.
The law-enforcement personnel reached Chhatarpur district late Wednesday.
