Mumbai Dec 20 :The Bombay High Court on Monday rejected bail plea of erstwhile Bollwood actor and reality show Bigg Boss former contestant Armaan Kohli for his alleged involvement in a drugs case.
Kohli, who has been in judicial custody since August 29, moved the plea saying he has been inetrrogated thoroughly by the probe agencies hence he should be released on bail.
The court rejected the bail as prima facie materials were available against the accused.
The 49-year-old actor’s house was raided by the Narcotics Control Bureau in August. The NCB claimed to have found 1.2g cocaine at his Andheri residence, following which he was arrested.
Kohli acted as a child artist in films directed by his father Rajkumar Kohli. He made his debut as a lead actor in a 1992 film “Virodhi” and has acted in 17 films till date.
