Reacting to a tweet by the AAP supremo asking Sidhu to stop the alleged sand theft, the Punjab Congress chief said that Kejriwal would never know Punjab’s ground reality.

Sidhu said that in five years, while Kejriwal was away, he made the Sand Mining policy, fought to implement it against the mining mafia and raised peoples’ issues, adding that the AAP supremo, meanwhile bowed down and sought forgiveness from drug mafia! He claimed that Congress’ Punjab Model was built on extensive research, not on empty promises and estimates.

The PPCC chief said, “Sand mining has potential of Rs 2000 crore, not Rs 20,000 crore. While there is Rs 30,000 crore potential in liquor, which you privatised in Delhi and gave a free run to the likes of Deep Malhotra and Chadha.”
