Bhubaneswar: A man has been allegedly beaten to death by his wife in capital city of Odisha.
The deceased has been identified as Sam Mundari of Damana slum area, was working as a cleaner in the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The incident took place in Damana slum under Chandrasekharpur police limits.
According to sources, Mundari and his wife got into some arguments. Following which, Mundari’s wife in a fit of rage attacked and killed him last night. The locals on suspicion informed the police today morning.
Chandrasekharpur police on being informed reached the spot along with the scientific team and started an investigation.
Reportedly, police have detained the accused for interrogation. The exact reason behind the incident is yet to be confirmed.
