Odisha painter Soumyaranjan’s art displays at Tokyo Olympic Memorial Hall
Kendrapara : The painting of Internationally acclaimed Odia painter Soumyaranjan Pattanayak of coastal Kendrapara has been displayed from July 23 to August 8 at Tokyo Olympic Memorial Hall.
Sopumyaranjan who has received several awards and felicitation worldwide , was one of the 72 participants in the Virtual Art Show “Olympia” organised by Indian contemporary Artist Association.
The Virtual Art Show”Olympia” was inaugurated by former Hockey captain of Indiaby Dillip Tirkey.
The painting was on display from July 23 to August 8 after a green signal from the Olympic Committee to encourage the Indian player to do well in the Olympics .
Soumyaranjan Pattanayak created a painting with the title of “glory “ for the Virtual Art Show”Olympia”.
The 36-years old artist has been working as the art instructor at Kakat Mangala Upper Primary School and also the Director of Kendrapara based – Krishna School of Art and Crafts .
He has received four International awards, 16 national level awards and 29 state level prizes in various art competitions.
