Bhubaneswar: After a major cabinet reshuffle at centre, Odisha government has effected a revamp in IPS officers of SP ranks. As many as 7 IPS officers of SP rank have been changed in the reshuffle.
S. Dev Dutta Singh (RR:1998), on repatriation from Central deputation has been posted as IGP, Head Quarter.
Prakash R (RR:2008), at present Superintendent of Police, Jagatsinghpur is transferred and posted to Vigilance organization while Akhileshvar Singh, (RR: 2009) at present Commandant, SOG, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Jagatsinghpur.
P. S. Parshottamdas (RR: 2013), at present Superintendent of Police, Mayurbhanja, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Nowrangpur, while Rahul Jain (RR: 2015), at present Superintendent of Police, Nuapada, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Bargarh. He has been replaced by Pratyush Diwaker (RR: 2015) at present A!GP, Head Quarter.
K. R. Dnyandeo (RR: 2016), at present Superintendent of Police, Malkangiri, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Mayurbhanja. He has been replaced by P. S, Meena (RR: 2017), at present Superintendent of Police, Nowrangpur.
