Low pressure triggers rainfall in Odisha

Bhubaneswar : A low-pressure system formed over the Bay of Bengal triggered rainfall in parts of Odisha. The rainfall activity is expected to last for three days.

A yellow warning has been issued to Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Nuapada, Bolangir, Deogarh. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected to lash these places.

Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the deep sea from July 23 to 25, as strong winds reaching 40km/hr to 50km/hr is likely to prevail along the coast.
