Kandhamal : The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch with the help of Balikuda Forest officials today seized a leopard skin and arrested one person from near Siptiguda village under Baliguda Wildlife Range in Kandhamal district today.
Acting on a tip-off, the STF personnel and Baliguda Forest officials conducted a raid and arrested one Bidyadhar Nayak of Hatapada Sahi. .
During the last one year, STF has seized 16 leopard skins, nine elephant tusks, two deer skin, four live pangolins and 15 kg pangolin scales and arrested 33 wildlife poachers and traders illegally trading wildlife parts.
