ACF death mystery : Deceased ACF’s father meets Crime Branch ADG, expresses dissatisfacation

Cuttack : Expressing dissatisfaction over the ongoing investigation in Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra’s death mystery, his father Abhimanyu Tuesday met Crime Branch ADG Sanjeeb Panda in Cuttack today

He demanded the arrest of Bidyabharti alongside the transfer of DFO.

It is pertinent to mention that Soumya Ranjan had sustained burn injuries at his quarters on July 11. He succumbed while being treated at a private hospital in Cuttack a day later.

The Crime Branch, which took over the investigation, has so far questioned many people related to the case as the late ACF’s family had accused the DFO and Soumya’s wife Bidya Bharati of involvement in his death, a charge both have refuted.
