4 Odisha officials given compulsory retirement, here’s why

Bhubaneswar : Irked on grounds of corruption and inefficiency, the Odisha government on Tuesday ordered compulsory retirement of four senior officials in various ranks from services with immediate effect.

While two officials are OAS officers, 1 sub-registrar & 1 former district official of animal resources dept.

The officials are Angul Deputy collector Janaki Nath Mishra, Nuagarh Tahasildar Akul Mallik, Dhenkanal sub-registrar Lalatendu Satpathy and former district official of animal resources department Trilochan Dhal have been given compulsory retirement over corruption charges and gross inefficiency.

It is pertinent to mention that till date 122 government officials have been given compulsory retirement.
