Bhubaneswar: After detection of Covid positives, the Sub-Collector office and Tehsil office in Bhubaneswar has been shut down for five days starting from today.
A total of 5 employees were tested Covid positive.
Notably the offices will remain closed till September 21.
Three Assistant Collectors of and two Additional Tahasildars of Bhubaneswar Tahasil have been affected with Covid.
Meanwhile, due to heavy crowding in the office premises during the working hours apprehension of affecting others cannot be ruled out.
Therefore for safety measures of the employees from the pandemic Covid situation which is prevailing now, both the offices may be ordered to be closed for 5 days w.e.f.17.9.2021 to 21.9.2021.
