Nadda, CMs of BJP-ruled states reach Ayodhya to pay obeisance at Ram Temple
Ayodhya: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) National president JP Nadda, along with Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Goa, Haryana and other BJP-ruled states, on Wednesday reached the holy city Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh to pay obeisance to Ramlala. This will be the first such visit by the BJP chief to the Ram Janmbhoomi after the Supreme Court’s verdict on the issue.
Nadda and chief ministers were given a warm welcome in a traditional way after arriving at Shri Ram Airport this afternoon. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is likely to join them later.
As per scheduled program, the CMs of the BJP-ruled states led by Nadda are scheduled to pay obeisance to Ramlala at 2 pm in Wednesday afternoon. Before this, they had perform puja at Hanuman Garhi temple. There are plans for a ride in Saryu river.
General Secretary of Ram Janmbhoomi, Nyas Champat Rai while welcoming the CMs said that they played an important role during Ram Temple campaign in their respective states. “It’s a matter of pleasure for us that these dignitaries are visiting Ayodhya today,” he added.
In wake of the visit of BJP president and the CMs, tight security arrangements have been made in the city.
