Lucknow: Training goons at Samajwadi Party (SP) over nepotism, casteism, and law and order, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that today mafia elements are running for shelter in the state. All appointments are being done in a transparent manner and UP is number one in around 50 schemes of the center.
After launching Akansha Petis (aspiration boxes) as a part of BJP’s ‘UP Number 1 Your Suggestion, Our Resolve’ campaign, Yogi said that earlier cases of terrorists were being withdrawn and they were being provided security. Today mafia are running for cover and no terrorist can dare to enter the state.
“Earlier when job opportunities opened uncle-nephew, uncle-aunty used to go on a money extortion spree. There used to be casteism and favoritism in appointments,” he said.
The CM said that the change is apparent only because the government has changed. Today jobs are being given without any discrimination. The state is number one in implementation of nearly 50 schemes of the center. With your support we will make the state number one economy in the country in times to come.
It may be mentioned that the BJP has taken resolve to make UP number one state in every sector. With this vision the party will collect expectations, aspirations and suggestions of the people of the state through various means which will be incorporated in the manifesto.
Yogi said that in 2017 assembly elections BJP released Sankalp Patra (Resolve Letter) instead of a manifesto. Resolve means which has no alternatives. All make announcements, but they go in oblivion. Resolve is something which we take as mantra and implement it. Resolve is meant for public welfare. Resolve is not a human being, but the welfare of the country.
He said that we completed all the resolves we took after forming the government in the state. Now for 2022 we have come again to take your suggestions to make them our resolves. We issued our report card continuously first after completing 100 days, then after 9 months, then again after one year and even when we completed four and a half years of the governance.
“In our five years of government 1.71 crore youths got employment. Maximum number of expressways are being constructed, medical colleges are coming up, work on waterways is being done. The state is same and its resources are same as well. Only the government and mentality of the people has changed,” he said.
