Legendary actor Dilip Kumar no more
Mumbai, Jul 7 : Legendary Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar passed away on Wednesday morning. He was 98. The actor had been witnessing age-related health issues since several days and had been admitted to the hospital multiple times. He was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. Dr Jalil Parkar, the pulmonologist treating the veteran actor, confirmed his death.
In a career spanning over six decades, Kumar acted in over 65 movies. He is best known for his roles in ‘Devdas ‘(1955), ‘Naya Daur’ (1957), ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ (1960), ‘Ganga Jamuna’ (1961), ‘Kranti’ (1981), and ‘Karma’ (1986). He was last seen in ‘Qila’ in 1998.
