Bhubaneswar: To let people know about the functioning of the judiciary, a replica of the Orissa High Court was inaugurated by Chief Justice S. Muralidhar at the Balijatra ground in Cuttack on Wednesday.
The Chief Justice was happy to get a space in the Balijatra to showcase the activities of the judiciary. People should know more and more about how the system works, who makes it work and what are the different organs of the judiciary, he said.
“I am sure many people will learn many more things about what happens within the judiciary and it is their institution. That will make us more transparent and more accountable to them and to the constitution,” he added.
