Central Teams For Maha, Kerala & Mizoram To Take Stock Of Situation Of Omicron

Aurangabad, Dec 27: Union Minister of state for health Bharti Pawar has said that central government has sent teams to Maharashtra, Kerala and Mizoram where reporting numbers of cases of New variant Omicron as well as Covid-19.
Ms Pawar who was in Tuljapur holy town of Osmanabad district of Marathwada region of state to pay obeisance to Maa Tulja Bhavani.
Speaking to media persons here she said that the Center has sent teams to Maharashtra, Kerala and Mizoram, which are increasingly infected with Omicron and Covid-19, and the team will take stock of the situation and report back to the Center .
Before that Pawar speaking to newsmen in Sangli stated that, the state government can impose strict restrictions on the background of Omicron virus if needed.
Considering the danger of Omicron, the state government wants to take a decision to create restricted areas – cantonment zones as per requirements, to impose strict regulations, She added.
It may noted that so far 141 New variant of Omicron were spotted in the state mostly in Mumbai pose challenge before the health administration.
