Watch: 2 Pakistani Women MPs Get Into A Terrible Fight

Islamabad, Dec 31: Two women members of the National Assembly of Pakistan (MNA) got into a brawl during the ongoing Parliament session, the media reported on Friday.
Ghazala Saifi of the ruling Pakistan-Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) party and Shagufta Jumani of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) shouted and pushed each other when other members of the opposition gathered for a face-to-face argument during the presentation of the controversial Finance Bill, Dawn newspaper reported.

Some media reports claimed that PTI’s Saifi was slapped by Jumani after a heated argument. PPP members said Jumani only retaliated to Saifi’s attack.
Saifi later issued a statement claiming her thumb allegedly got fractured in the melee.
Saifi said: “I am appalled at the way Shugafta Jumani has conducted herself. To behave in such a way, in a space which has such specific codes of ethics, a place for us to voice the concerns of the people we represent, for it to be reduced to this sort of brawl-like behaviour should be a cause of intense shame for Jumani.”
Jumani did not make any comment on this. A TV channel quoted her as saying “if someone would physically attack her, he or she would definitely face a reaction”.
PPP MNA Raja Pervez Ashraf said Jumani came to him complaining a PTI lady attacked her and she also received a minor injury. He described the incident unfortunate.
