This Pak Varsity Issues Strict Dress Code For Students, A Big No To Shorts, Cut-off jeans, Multi-pocket
Islamabad, Dec 29: Pakistan’s University of Agriculture Faisalabad has issued a dress code for its male and female students.
As per the notification issued by Toba Tek Singh sub-campus of the university, the male students were not allowed to wear shorts, cut-off jeans, multi-pocket, faded, torn and skin-fitted jeans and trousers, T-shirts with messages of any kind, chappals and slippers, bandanas, caps, vest of any kind.
The male students have also been barred from wearing long hair and ponytails, earrings, wrist straps and bracelets.
Besides, the girls have been banned from wearing T-shirts with jeans, sleeveless shirts, see-through and skintight dresses, heavy make-up, flashy and heavy jewellery and anklets.
In September, the educational authorities in Islamabad and Rawalpindi had banned female teachers from wearing jeans and tights during office timings, The Express Tribune reported.
The male teachers were also banned from wearing jeans and T-shirts.
