Tirin Kot, Dec 16: Two children have been confirmed dead and eight others injured as a blast ripped through a wedding party in southern Afghanistan, a local official said Thursday.
The blast took place at the wedding party in Khalach village of Gizab district in the country’s Uruzgan province on Wednesday, according to the official who declined to be named.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility.
Police have yet to make any comment.
