Oshiwara, Mumbai : In an unfortunate turn of events, on Thursday, popular television actor Sidharth Shukla breathed his last at Mumbai due to a heart attack. This news left the entire entertainment industry in shock. Now, the ‘Bigg Boss 13’ winner’s last rites are set to be held today, September 3, at 12 PM in Oshiwara, Mumbai.
According to the report by India Today, Shukla’s body will be handed over to his family and taken to his Oshiwara residence in Mumbai. Shukla will be cremated in Oshiwara. The post-mortem report is yet to be shared by the officials of Cooper Hospital. Reportedly, the funeral was earlier supposed to happen at the Brahma Kumaris, however, due to the permission issues, it is now set to take place in Oshiwara.
Meanwhile, the ambulance has reached the Cooper Hospital to take Shukla’s body for the last rites. The funeral procession will begin in some time now.
Post the news of Sidharth Shukla’s demise, many industry celebrities visited the late actor’s house to pay their last respects. Varun Dhawan, Rajkummar Rao, Patralekha, Rashami Desai, Asim Riaz, Gauahar Khan, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rahul Vaidya, Arti Singh, Shefali Jariwala, Disha Parmar, Vishal Aditya Singh, Hindustani Bhau, Rahul Mahajan, and many others were also seen at Sidharth’s house on Thursday.
Sidharth Shukla was last seen in the web series, ‘Broken But Beautiful 3’, and made guest appearances on ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ and ‘Dance Deewane 3’ with his rumored girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill.
