Chennai, Dec 27: Popular Tamil film playback singer and actor Manicka Vinayagam passed away in Chennai today following a cardiac arrest.
He was 73. He is the youngest son of the famous Bharatanatyam teacher Vazhuvoor B. Ramiah Pillai. He has sung more than 800 songs in various languages ​​including Tamil. He has also acted in character roles in several films.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin visited his residence and paid homage to the departed soul. He also offered his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
