Mumbai : The Rupee on Tuesday surged nine paise to reach 74.12 against US Dollar in opening session on brisk demand for US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit was seen strong on weak dollar against other world currencies amid firm opening in stock market.
The Rupee registered days high and low at 74.15 and 74.10 respectively.
