Lucknow, Jan 17: A total of 36 nominations have been filed so far for the first phase of assembly polls in 58 seats of Western Uttar Pradesh, officials informed on Monday.
ECI sources here on Monday said 34 nominations were submitted on Monday whereas 2 nominations were filed earlier.
The highest number of 3 each nominations were filed for Sahibabad, Chatta and Mathura assembly seats while two each were for the Noida, Dadra and Jewar seats.
January 21, is the last date for filing of the nominations for the first phase where polling is scheduled on February 10.
