New Delhi: Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested a Pakistani terrorist from Laxmi Nagar area and recovered an AK-47 rifle and several other arms and ammunition from him, police said on Tuesday.
According to police, a Pakistani who has been identified as Mohd. Ashraf alias Ali, a resident of Pakistan’s Punjab area was living in Delhi’s Shastri Nagar with a fake identity as Indian national by the name Ali Ahmed Noori. He had obtained fake Indian identity cards through forged documents.
Delhi Police raided his residence and recovered an AK-47 rifle and several other firearms.
Mohd. Asraf has been arrested under relevant provisions of the UA(P) Act, Explosive Act, Arms Act, said the police.
