Bhopal : A couple slit their children’s throats with a machine – employed to cut tiles – while the minors were asleep and then consumed a poisonous substance in the wee hours on Saturday in the Madhya Pradesh capital’s Multi Sahara Estate allegedly owing to monetary woes, law-enforcement authorities said.
Civil Engineer Ravi Thakre (56) and his son Chirag (16) died whereas Ranjna (50) and Gunjan (14) are critical at the city-based Hamidia Hospital.
