Axis My India set to launch India’s first Two-Way Communication & Facilitation Platform

Kolkata : India, a homeland to varied cultures, religions and socio-economic strata today portrays a rapidly evolving homogeneous to a heterogeneous environment where needs and choices are everchanging.
The core element which can be the premise of progress in such a society is information. The information is personalized & can help one live a better life.
With this premise, Axis My India, India’s foremost consumer data intelligence company has announced its plan to embark on an audacious journey to empower 250 million Indian households with their Mission Himalaya – Unchi Udaan Roadmap Initiative. Under this initiative, the company is committed to launching India’s first Two-Way Communication & Facilitation platform.
This platform will have a dual purpose of bridging the gap between metros, small towns, and remote villages in the hinterland by providing everyone with an aggregated platform to gather relevant information and voice their grievances, wherein citizens can connect with relevant stakeholders, government authorities and corporates/brands, who can listen and solve these issues.
The platform will be an information enabler where content by policymakers, government & corporates can be published in multiple regional languages to create awareness around different schemes & products, straight to the user, aspiring for a level of penetration much higher than seen before. Hence, many citizens who weren’t aware of several benefit schemes due to information asymmetry will now be able to access and benefit from that information.
The process flow of the platform will be as follows: Users will be allowed to input data in 13 different languages via multiple formats – application, text, audio, video, email and even using manual pen & paper documents.
The platform is not limited to smartphone users hence deliveries will be accepted in all kinds of formats. This data will then be accessed by a central processing unit, where it will be segmented, sorted & analyzed using AI/ML and then sent to the relevant authorities for resolution. Database analysis will also use the data to draw up targeted content, perception profiles and loyalty modules which will then be used to create curated experiences.
Another critical objective of the platform is to augment the demand and supply flow of employment in small towns and villages – by aggregating listings of masons, carpenters, contractors, and other such self-employed professionals in a central repository and then providing them information on job opportunities around their skill set.
This can be further beneficial for the corporate sector, by allowing them to get accurate and authentic information on real issues on the ground to better utilize their CSR funds and at the same time measure real valuation & demand of a brand/company across demography & geography which can be useful information for M&A.
The platform will also provide users with curated content and entertainment in hyperlocal dialects while allowing corporates an effective micro-targeted advertising opportunity. For the first time, institutions and corporations will be allowed to connect with Indians most authentically, understand their grievances as well as provide them with targeted solutions.
The platform will also act as a bridge between corporations and governments, allowing them to closely collaborate on projects of critical importance, further strengthening and expanding the ethos of public-private partnership.
Commenting on this huge undertaking, Pradeep Gupta, Chairman, and Managing Director, Axis My India said “With a belief that in the middle of difficulty lies opportunity, we want to use our scale and expertise to enable a meaningful difference to the lives of everyday Indians. Our interaction with 80 million Indian households and presence in over 700 districts has provided us with a deeply rooted understanding of India’s diverse socio-economic, linguistic, ethnic, cultural, and political complexities thereby yielding us with an unprecedented opportunity to bring equity between rural and urban India.”
“This platform will provide relevant information & importantly give a voice to 250 million Indian households and try to improve their quality of livelihood.”
The platform will further focus on formalizing the rural economy by providing linkages with UPI and other Aadhar related beneficiary schemes. It will also be enabled to capture several nuances associated with our vast country like including micro-level specifications such as geospatial dialect recognition, lite versions of the app with a simple UX to enable adoption amongst first-time smartphone users, as well as stringent data privacy policies, on par with global benchmarks.
Axis My India is currently in the advanced stages of development with strategic technology partners and will launch the pilot version of the platform shortly.
