Balangir: Man killed after BJD MP Niranjan Bishi’s car hits his scooter

Balangir: A man died on Wednesday after the scooter he was riding was hit by Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP Niranjan Bishi’s car near Tamian Square under Patnagarh police limits in Bolangir district.

The deceased was identified as Tankadhar Biswal (35) of Indapur village under Larambha police limits.

According to reports, the incident took place after the driver of the car lost control over the wheels and hit Biswal’s car. Subsequently, he fell down under the impact of the collision and died on the spot

Patnagarh police has launched a probe in this connection to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to the mishap.

Meanwhile, the MP stated he was not present inside the car at the time of the accident. Expressing grief over the matter, the parliamentarian said he will extend help to the family of the deceased.
