Stars Welcome 2022 With Positivity, Hope

Mumbai, Jan 1: Bollywood stars welcomed the new year 2022 with positivity, hope, and aspirations of a Covid-free year.

Khiladi Kumar started his first morning of 2022 by chanting “Gayatri Mantra”. The actor took to Instagram to post a video where he can be seen chanting the Gayatri mantra, captioning it “New year, same me” with a smiley emoji.

“Woke up and greeted my old friend, the sun and started my 2022 with all things positive except for Covid” — with a fingers crossed emoji, he added.

The “Sooryavanshi” actor wished fans a Happy New Year, praying for everyone’s good health and happiness.

Sonam Kapoor shared some intimate pictures with her husband Anand Ahuja celebrating the new year, on Instagram.

She wrote, “Happy new year to the love of my life. He is not just #everydayphenomenal, he is every year phenomenal and the person I want to spend every new year with” on the post’s caption.

“Wishing all of you good health, happiness and fulfilment in 2022,” she added.

Mira Kapoor also shared a cozy picture with her husband Shahid Kapoor, saying, “It’s going to be a great one because Mr K agreed to a photo, Happy New year” with a red heart emoji.

The couple welcomed 2022 in comfortable pyjamas, fuzzy socks. Mira also hoped, “Can we do this every year?”.

Anushka Sharma, who is accompanying husband Virat Kohli on India’s tour to South Africa, penned a note on Instagram expressing her gratitude to 2021.

“The year that got us the greatest happiness I’ve known’, she posted, with an emoji of family and a red heart. “So, deepest gratitude 2021, thank you!” she added.

Virat has also shared some new year celebration pictures with his actor wife and the Indian cricket team. The couple was blessed with a baby girl, named Vamika, in 2021.
