Gajapati District In Odisha Plays Leader-role In Skill Development

To generate the instinct at self-reliance, skill development among the larger youth mass has not merely been confined to sloganeering but, a perceptible reality at change. It can well be seen at the bottom where it has become fruitful.
Under the said initiative, ‘The Aspirational Districts’ with an aim to transform the most under developed districts in the country, it has been envisaged that, the focus should be on the strength of each district.
India had listed 112, most under developed districts among which the Gajapati district, , in Odisha, has sprung up as one of the outstanding districts in the indicator.
Equally outstanding that, the NITI Ayog Special Secretary Dr. K Rajeshwar Rao has expressed his appreciation through a letter to the Gajapati Distcrict Collector.

There are indicators those primarily placed as yardsticks in the field of Skill Development . Those are training, certifications, placements, apprenticeship and the recognition of prior learning and, importantly the inclusion of the marginalized section in the training.
In which, Gajapati district has stood out.
Meanwhile , the NITI Ayog Special Secretary has assured that, in another six months, Gajapti should be an example to spread the spirit of involvement and success for other districts in India.
