Odisha train tragedy toll goes up to 292

Bhubaneswar, June 18 : The toll in the June 2 Bahanaga train tragedy on Sunday went up to 292 as one more passenger perished, the authorities said.
The passenger Paltu Naskar from West Bengal, undergoing treatment in the ICU of the SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack. breathed his last during the day.
The authorities based on the reports of Balasore district on June 6 had put the death count in the triple train crash at 288 .
Since then, four passengers under going treatment at the SCB Medical College and hospital have perished.
Out of the four who died in SCB medical College and hospital three are from Bihar and one is from West Bengal.
While one Bijay Paswan died on June 13, Prakash Ram perished on June 16 and S Mansur (all from Bihar) breathed his last on June 17.
At present over 40 injured passengers are undergoing treatment in SCB Medical College and Hospital Cuttack.
