Mumbai, June 28: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials on Tuesday issued fresh summons to Shiv Sena Member of Parliament Sanjay Raut, on the second time in connection with the money laundering case linked to the redevelopment of the Patra Chawl project in Goregaon by a private firm, Guru Ashish Construction Pvt Ltd.
Raut has now been asked to appear before the ED on July 1.
Earlier the agency had directed Raut to appear before them on Tuesday.
Raut however, did not appear. he was represented by his lawyer who submitted an application on behalf of him seeking more time.
The same was granted and he has been directed to appear on July 1.
