Goa Polls: Congress Claims BJP’s Defeat
Panaji, Feb 2: Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole on Wednesday claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would be defeated in the upcoming Assembly elections and the people will elect Congress for a stable government.
“People of Goa have suffered due to mismanagement of BJP, hence voters will definitely elect the Congress”, Patole said while addressing a press conference in Panaji. He alleged that “BJP government killed the Covid-19 patients and they must be accountable for it “. The Congress leader also blamed the BJP government for closing down the mining activities in Goa.
“People have seen the real face of BJP through this act of closing down mining activities and also during Covid-19. The BJP government has also done corruption in the health sector”. He also claimed that Congress would also win the Panaji seat. “People alleged that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has become the richest person, who had only one Wagon-R vehicle during his initial stage in politics. People know how he has gained the wealth, and this anger against BJP will send them home”, he added.
