Man-Eater Leopard caught on camera in Sunabeda of Odisha

The man-eater Tiger caught on camera by the forest department at Jalamadai village of Odisha’s Nuapada district, the beast has been seen roaming around around in the forest range.

A tiger who has been a cause of tension and terror in and around villages in Sunabeda sanctuary was caught on camera.

Forest department officials reached the village and are assessing the situation. Altogether 15 trap cameras have been installed in different parts of the Sunabeda forest to monitor the movements of the leopard.

According to Forest officer Shiva Khamari, the leopard is a male and is more than 8 years old.

It is pertinent to note that for the last few days, leopard attacks is recorded continuously. On Thursday, while collecting firewood in the backyard of her house in Jalamdei village, a tiger came and pounced on her. As she did not return home until late at night, the family searched for him but could not find her. On Friday, a leopard killed a calf in Mohradihi village of the district.
