Bhubaneswar, Feb 27: As a part of counting of votes for the Odisha Panchayat Polls 2022, results for elections to 300 Zilla Parishad (ZP) seats in Odisha have been declared. The BJD has secured victory in 268 ZP zones.
The Congress and the BJP won in 14 ZP zones each.
Notably, counting of votes for as many as 315 ZP zones started yesterday while results of 300 seats have been declared, till last reports came in.
Similarly, counting of votes for 305 more seats was underway from Sunday morning. Counting for 231 remaining zones is scheduled to take place on Monday, Feb 28.
Results for a total of 851 ZP zones will be declared after the conclusion of the entire counting process.
