Beware! drunken driving checks in Odisha from today, Violators to be produced in court

Beware everyone, going to prevent drunken driving and alcohol-impaired driving fatalities, the Odisha Transport department has launched a drive against tipsy drivers from Thursday, said reliable reports.

According to available reports, drunken driving checking in Odisha will be strict checking from 3 PM to 12 midnight every day starting Thursday.

Informing about the drive, additional commissioner of Transport Department, Lalmohan Sethi said, “Enforcement is a major function that gives us instant results. We have launched a three-day-long drive namely ‘drunken –driving’ from today itself.”

The Additional Commissioner, Transport and Enforcement in an interaction with the press earlier today said that, the violators shall be fined and sent to jail.
