Weather Forecast: Low Pressure Causing Heavy Rain In Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Heavy rainfall causing drizzle weather in Odisha. Due to the low pressure created in the Bay of Bengal, heavy rains have occurred across the state on Thursday. Heavy rain is likely to occur in some districts on Friday as well. According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, most of the districts of Odisha are likely to experience rain on Friday.
7 to 11 cm rain will be held in various places of 22 districts including Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara. Yellow alert has been issued for the respective districts due to rain.
There is a risk of rain in some districts of internal and coastal Odisha, but no warning has been issued by the Meteorological Centre. On the other hand, the Monsoon Trop Line also extends through Maharashtra and surrounding areas and Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal to North Bangladesh. Returning south-west monsoon line passing through Ferozepur, Thapa, Churu, Ajmer, Mount Abu, Disha, Surendranagar, Junagarh has been informed by the weather station.
