Maharashtra To Conduct Offline Board Exams

Aurangabad/Mumbai, Jan 22: Maharashtra State Board of Education has announced that the 10th and 12th examinations of the State Board of Secondary (SSC) and Higher Secondary Education (HSC) will be held offline.

On Friday, Board chairman Sharad Gosavi said that the Class 10th examination will begin from March 15 and the Class 12th examination from March 4.

The practical examinations for Class 12 will be held from February 14 to March 4, while for Class 10 from February 25 to March 14, he informed.

“The exams will be held offline as the students are getting vaccinated against Covid-19 this time. We hope that the exams will be as per the prescribed schedule,” he said.

This year, 16.19 lakh students will be giving 10th state board exams while 14.65 lakh students will be appearing for the 12th exams.
