Bhubaneswar: Amid daily COVID-19 cases nearing a higher mark across Odisha, over 30 students of the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) tested positive for the highly contagious virus.
The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) declared one hostel of the premier management institution as the containment zone to prevent further spread of infection at the campus.
The infected students have been kept in isolation for treatment.
Source said that the BMC will conduct RT-PCR test on remaining students staying in other hostels of XIMB to detect the COVID cases.
