Jerusalem, Nov 28 : The humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip between Israel and Hamas that was extended until November 30 came into effect at 07:00 a.m. local time (05:00 GMT) on Tuesday.

Late on Monday, Qatar said that an agreement had been reached between Israel and Hamas on the two-day extension of the humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip on the same terms as the previous one.
