Berhampur: Seven students of Khallikote Higher Secondary School in Berhampur of Ganjam district have been permanently suspended for allegedly ragging a girl student last month.
As per the notice issued by the office of the Principal, the seven students have been permanently suspended from the campus following the recommendation of the anti-ragging committee.
The notice stated that if the students are found in the campus, police is free to take appropriate legal action against them.
The members of Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad and Discipline have been directed to intimate immediately the local police station, if the suspended students are seen on and around the campus.
