Bhubaneswar, Feb 18: The Odisha State Higher Education Council (OSHEC) has prepared the a uniform guideline for Research policy and procedure to be followed by all the Public Universities after wide consultation with vice-chancellors of all varsities.
The uniform policy and procedure have been communicated to all the universities coming under the Odisha State Higher Education Department.
The Department has advised the universities to strictly follow the said guidelines so as to ensure a uniform Research policy and procedure across all universities.
Notably, the government had entrusted on Odisha State Higher Education Council the task of formulating a uniform Research policy for all State universities after a high level Conclave of Vice-Chancellors, held on July 23, 2021
The top panel formulated the guideline for uniform Research policy and procedure after making wide consultation with Vice Chancellors of all State universities.
Once duly followed, the uniform policy will help research scholars across the State avail services like entrance exams, admission and awarding of degrees into courses like PhD, D.Litt in a consistent and time bound manner.
